Looking to connect directly to HFM data without going through the process of creating data extracts out of Hyperion first. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I came across this post while reviewing older, unanswered posts.
is the HFM solution you mention the same as this: Grand Logic | Big Analytics: Tableau for Agile Oracle Essbase Financial Reporting
If so, the Essbase connector within Tableau should connect to this data source.
