I'm struggling the understand the purpose of the Summary Card in Tableau Public since it does not display in the published online version of a graphic (and web use is the main benefit of Public over other Tableau software). Digging through forums hasn't yielded any explanation, just people confirming that it does not display when served up on the web.

Anyone have any ideas why the Summary Card operates this way? I understand it not displaying in dashboards, just not in my original interactive graphic.

Thanks!

    Good morning Alexa

I use the summary card when I am checking and debugging calculations - by highlighting rows, columns or a combinations I can see the sum, avg, median etc to check on calculated fields that I created - (v downloading to excel and doing the calculation there)
