I am connecting to an excel spreadsheet. I get this error when I try to save the extract:
[-10] PQresultStatus: 7 ERROR: Unable to resolve database file path: Unable to obtain canonical path [SQL State: 58P01] [Severity: ERROR] [Primary message: Unable to resolve database file path: Unable to obtain canonical path]
Unable to create extract
It is really frustrating, please help!

Hi Emily,
There is a KB article that is similar to the error you're getting:
So you could try either moving the file from the share drive to your computer, or upgrading to latest version of Tableau Desktop.
