One of the reports that I am working on is created in Excel. It has 46 rows; some of which are text data and others are calculated fields. My task is to recreate the same report in Tableau as is for now before proceeding with further visualizations.
I tried to approach this task by adding my dimensions to the rows, but after adding 9 dimensions to the rows my data in the view started to overlap with each other. I also tried to use the columns thinking that the same concept in excel would carry over, but the data of the dimension started to spread across the view instead of remaining as one in-tact column….
A little help from you would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
For this you have to go to Analysis--->Table Layout-->Advanced and there you can increase your Rows and Columns levels(Max 16 you can do it).
