Windows Tableau Data Extract Command-Line Utility has an addfiletoextract option which allows to append file content to an extract(TDE) on Tableau Server. Is it possible to achieve the same thing from a Unix server ?

That's a good question!
I'm guessing not as my current understanding of that command line utility is that it is actually using the Tableau Desktop engine to build the extract and ship it to Tableau Server. I'm definitely open to correction on this if anyone else has better knowledge.
