I recently inherited a lot of Tableau integration code for our Rails app. We're having a problem with "Add User to Site" as documented . If we create a user and one already exists on our Tableau server, we get error code 409017. I have found 409017 documented elsewhere in the API reference but it doesn't have the context for circumstance where that error code would be received. The documentation says we should receive 409000. My questions are:
- Is there any difference between the two error codes?
- Is it safe to ignore the final three digits.
