Hi - Could somebody please explain how the functionality offered by Raw SQL in Tableau 7, 8, 8.1 can be replicated using Tableau 9? For example, I can I replicate the functionality described in this article: Using Raw SQL Functions | Tableau Software ?

I was shown that this is possible by clicking the down arrow next to Open when opening the data source and then selecting "Open with Legacy Connection". Works
