underlying data

Question

Hi,

Trying to get full (underlying ) data from view using Python API, Just would like to know if any one tried. I am able to get summary data and not full data.

Hi Kiran,  You can't get the full data using TSC. I would recommend using Tableau  Extensions API  or  JavaScript API . Both have a function to get full data.   I hope it is helpful, Gigi

Hi Kiran, Python API is based on the REST API which can't extract all the underlying data. You can get underlying data by Javascript API.  You also can use python with webdriver to trigger the Javascript API.
