There are many measures and conditions in business that would benefit from the systematic creation of hi/low - out of stock - back orders - aged a/r reporting ????? that would benefit from a history data store of Historical POSITION Reports.
Tableau makes a systematic way for reporting and ETLing the results into an SQL quality data store - for historical reporting. I'm aware that this function could be handled on the DW side - but in many cases a concise historical record is not kept in the Data Warehouse of out-of-bounds conditions or important details.
Create a tabcmd schedule
run the Accounts Receivable History Worksheet/Workbook - with the proper filters
then, much like View All Data, write those defined fields to the defined database
or like log file - APPEND the report data - to the tabcmd - file parameter - Historical file for A/R History.
Create - Worksheets to Visualize the History of A/R Position
add log of staffing and machine hr positions - to reports or other data stores
Measure critical values - with context of how much , how fast , time of day , OUT of STOCK , late , etc.
