I am looking for a visualization technique to replicate needle movement. Based on selection in my quick filters the needle moves on the graphic to the desired value (or region). Something like this. Is it achieveable in any ways?Or any other alternate Please guide.

This is otherwise known as a gauge and folks around here generally consider this to be a bad type of visualization.
Bullet Graphs are generally accepted as the alternative - http://kb.tableausoftware.com/articles/knowledgebase/bulletgraph
With that being said, it is possible to build it within Tableau with a workaround - DuelingData: Gauge Hate
