Query on Racing Bar Chart Want to learn how to rank on the basis of overall sum rather than sum on an individual date

Working on the Covid database

When we put the date field in the Marks card, the bars(countries) gets ranked on the value of the respective field on that particular date. What if I want the ranking to be done based on the number of cases till that date i.e. cumulative sum till that day and not just the number of cases on that day only.

 

Any advise to implement it. (Sorry if this is a silly one, still in the learing phase😅 )

    Thanks for your response Adrian.

    I have computed the Rankings based on the Countries and the specific date is coming by default when we put the Date variable in Pages Card.

     

    Attached the workbook.

     

    An alternate solution is if I put the Date variable in the Filter card instead of Pages Card and then select Range of Dates. It is then taking cumulative same but this does not gives us the play/pause buttons which I want.

     

    Appreciate your help on this.
