Building Org Chart in Tableau

Hi all,

I’ve been trying to build an organization chart in Tableau without self joins. I like how Jeff Shaffer and Gregg Rimmer had done their org charts. However, their data preparation is tedious as I’m not sure how to generate x and y coordinates.

May I know if there are other ways to prepare the dataset needed to build the org chart?
