Hello Team,
We want to connect our Enterprise SAP HANA on premise system to Tableau Cloud in a secured way.
Please advise the process how we should connect our HANA system to Tableau.
Mahesh,
What you are wanting to accomplish may or may not be possible in the product currently. If you would like to use live connections instead of extract, then Tableau Bridge is not an option as Bridge does not currently support live connections for SAP HANA. You would need to attempt to publish the connection on Tableau Online. This will require you to whitelist the Tableau Online IP addresses with your database. Keep in mind that the instructions from this article are for cloud-based databases rather than on-prem databases, as our supported method of connecting to on-prem databases would be to use Tableau Bridge. Some types of on-prem databases will not allow you to publish directly to Tableau Online and would require Bridge, which would put you back into the boat of requiring an extract.

Have you tried reaching out to your account manager? They would be a good resource to assist you with getting started on your deployment and can get you a consultant who will be able to answer any deployment related questions.
