Hi Tableau!

I changed around my project directory online, but I found an issue.

Previously I had projects for Client A, Client B etc and locked each project on the top-level project permission for each respective user group.

What I did then, since I found it to be messy, is create a project called CLIENT-SPECIFIC INSIGHT and put all the other projects into it. This wiped out all my previous permissions, but when I went into the main project and tried to lock permissions from the sub-project and lower, it said I was unable to do it.

So basically I'm asking is if there's a way to lock from a sub-project level downwards but keep the permission from the top-level project to the sub-level project unlocked for that space?

Hope that's understandable...

    Hi Sean Hurwitz,

Apologies for the delayed response here. Currently, project permissions can only be locked to a top-level project and cannot be locked for a sub-project (nested project).

    Hope this helps!
