No of records : more than 100 Million...
What should I do ?
Will it at any stage successfully create extract for such huge data ?
or do I need to do something else ?
Hello Jim, I was extracting from Tableau Server.....made a local copy of the data extract.........
It took me around 3.5 hours for the same....
I don't think it was network which was slow.... but yes, it could be related to system environment....
Next part was to replace the new extract file on the system with an existing data source in the file..this again took 2+ hrs...
so basically, for such a huge data, ~100 mn records, what should be the ideal steps to consider while making data extract/ replacing data source / any other impact on the performance ?
