I have a client who wants a bar and line chart with 3 bars displayed as a group with 2 lines (see image). I can see how to do a group of bars and a line, or a group of lines and a bar, but not a group of bars and a group of lines - am I correct? Thanks

No worries and thanks a lot for this update as it actually simplified the earlier problem.

Also your logic is spot on as we would no longer need those long formulas. Also, here is

what I came up with (based on your update) and hope it is better and a lot easier with

only 3 fruits (Apple, Orange & Banana).

Here are the 3 calculated fields (The first 2 look similar)

Also you need to set the Bar Thickness to 0.2 as shown below
