I'm a newbie but I've watched the tutorial on creating a map twice but I'm having the same problem. The problem is the US map doesn't display anything. Here's what I've done:
- Loaded an Excel spreadsheet with a State dimension and several measures
- The State dimension has the "globe" symbol indicating it's a geographic variable
- Longitude generated and Latitude generated show up
- I chose the "Show Me" map chart.
- I drag the State dimension to the "Level of Detail" box. No circles are displayed on the map.
- I've tried adding a measure by dragging a measure to the color box but still nothing.
I must be missing something obvious bu I don't see it. Please advise. Thanks

Just found that the country was set to England! Changed to US and it works! Thanks for your help. No idea how country was set to England. I was never at that option. Oh well. Thanks again.
