I would like to combine multiple excel files with daily performance data from multiple teams, once i combine can the data be refreshed on daily basis and automatic email can be send to management without refreshing it daily

The answer your 1st question is yes. If the excel files have the same structure you can use union functionality. https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/union.htm

Further more, if the file names follow a certain naming conversion, you can configure Tableau to search for a specific wildcard.

For the 2nd question also yes. I am assuming you are using Tableau server, there are several ways to accomplish it.
