I can do this using the filter and using the summary feature I can the count. What I would like to be able to do is create a calculated field for each of them so I can show it on the plot in a text box or in the worksheet title.
The Excel data is floating integer.

Thanks for replying Chris. The numbers are all in the same column but I need to be able to sum (count) the number of occasions that the value is > 100. I can see the result in the Summary Count feature, but I need to be able to show it on the tooltip or as a text annotation. I have a similar issue with selecting one column to be less than the top reference value and the adjacent column to be less than the lower reference value i.e. how many values above and how many values below the reference values.
