is there a way to change a filter for the whole dash? or must the filter be changed in each sheet?

Hi Andreas,
If filter is global or for some selected sheets in a dashboard then at the time of some changes in filter will automatically reflect on each sheet. For making filters global, check this link:-http://kb.tableausoftware.com/articles/knowledgebase/global-filter
