I am trying to retrieve data from oracle db which can hold Japanese data. The data (with Japanese strings) being inserted is being retrieved properly using SQLPlus. I have installed Tableau Desktop on a Japanese OS machine. But when i retrive data using Tableau, the Japanese chars are not retrieved correctly. Is there any thing that needs to be set to get this data retrieved correctly.
