I am having difficulty running Tableau on my pc, as it freezes. The only way to stop it is to force shut down.
It has worked in the past under a student license, but when I try to run it now to put a new product key in or see if there's an option to renew the license, it freezes the computer without even opening the usual launcher window.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, yet the problem persists.
It is a recent version of Windows 10, also a relatively new device.
Note: I have had a product key provided, yet I can't get as far as putting it in.

After uninstalling, delete all the temporary files before reinstalling tableau.
