Running Extension (from Git Hub) on Tableau Online

Hi all,

I am new to using extensions in tableau and would need more details as to how to run an extension on Tableau Online. The Extension I am using is for Auto refresh ( Get Started with Dashboard Extensions ). I understand that I will have to run the extension (using npm build) on my local.

Can anyone suggest the actual process to run the extension remotely, like on Git hub etc and not have to run it on my local server?
