Hey,

Is it possible to have multiple series of lines on a line graph using the same axis?

I have a list of dates (months).

Then I have the Actual Value for that month and then the Average value for that month.

I have managed to make a line chart but it is putting the Actual Values axis on the left 100k - 300k and then it is putting the Average axis on the right 80k - 250k (example figures).

So the lines might be at exactly the same height but one of them will be indicating  190k and the other 210k, is there a way to make them share the same axis?

Here's one way how to do it, presuming Actual Value and Average value are two different measures:

    1. Put your date dimension on Columns.

    2. Put your first measure on Rows/

3.Drag your second measure to the upper left of the axis legend, where Tableau will show two translucent green bars:

    4. Let go of the pill and Tableau will create a Measure Names/Values chart:

An alternative with the dual axis-chart would be to right-click on the right-axis and choose "Synchronize Axis".

    Hope this helps!
