Hi all...

I have a dual axis line chart that has sales for the current and prior periods by date.  I am using a parameter to control which sales are the current and prior period sales.  Everything looks good, but what I need to now do is combine the current and prior period sales on top of each other for comparison.  I know I need some type of Date Equalizer calc for this, but I'm not sure how to write it.  I've tried a number of things to get this to work, but am not getting what I need.

I need to keep the dual axis as I need to also show a reference line of avg daily sales for each measure.

Attached is a packaged workbook.

Any assistance would be great.

Thanks all,

Cherie

    Hey Cherie,

Along the lines of what Ken said, you can shift your previous period by the corresponding value depending on your parameter and then make a few adjustments for the tooltip. I've attached a workbook which takes care of all your cases.
