I hoping to get some help from the Tableau Community
I have a data sheet showing single transactions with columns of Date (MM/DAY/YR), Time (00:00:00), and Day of Week.
I'm looking to use Tableau to figure out the highest amount of sales within a 7 hr window for each day of the week. The Date is not critical, only the Time and Day of Week.
Does anyone have any experience visualizing this data?

Hi Jordan,
Don't know what your data actually looks like/structured but you could do something like the following:
Create a RANK_UNIQUE calculation and place into Filters, then right-click the calculation while in Filters Card and select Edit Table Calculation. Select Specific Dimensions, check box all, and set it to restart every Weekday. Then right-click Rank Unique calculation in Filters Card again and select Edit Filter and set maximum value to 7 (minimum left at 1).
That'll give you unique top 7 hours per weekday. If this answers your question please mark it as correct so that others may find it in their search for a solution in the future. Best, Don null
