Is there a way to compare sales of the current period to the previous period. For example in the picture attached it shows
Lets say for example the current day of date is 11/01/2020 in the previous previous year day column it should show sales for 11/01/2019.
For the current year week column, 10/30/2020 is friday of week number 44, for the previous year week column for 2019, friday of week number 44 is 11/01/2019, so for current year column is should show running total sales for the year up to 10/30/2020 and the previous year/week column should show running sales total up to the date 11/01/2019
and should be the same for previous month/year columns, for example of 10/30/2020 is the 4th friday of month 11 then the previous year month column should show the running total sales for the year 2019 up to the 4th friday of month 11.
is that possible using the sample superstore sales data?
