I'm newly working on cube connection in tableau. I tried to do some calculation field in measure but I couldn't able to achieve that.
1. I tried to get the count against the dimensions but in cube connection, there is no option available to get the count of dimension.
2. I can't able to use the dimension in calculative measure
3. I have a date column in the cube dimension, I want to create a calculation i.e., based on parameter date selection I tried to show only 5 years values. These scenarios I achieved in the relational database but in
cube connection I couldn't able to do. Is there any option available to do this scenario.
4. better we want to create all those calculations in the cube or we can achieve this tableau?
Hi Nethaji,
In this case I would recommend making the calculation in the cube. Cubes are known to be harder to work with because of the aggregation required.
