Tableau is new to me. This is my scenario. I have computed an avg of the number of active stores by city, something like ACTIVE_STORES/MAX(NumStores_cityX).
Num_stores indicates de number of stores in New York, Miami and Boston, for example. My columns are dates (YEAR and MONTH). I also have some filters for the type of products, but It is not relevant. What do I want to do? I want to be able to choose for example the city, and plot the values for such city, and just see the plot for such values.
I am adding some pictures were I let you see the issue. I am from colombia, so the names are in spanish. Cali, Mede, Bqll, BGTA are cities. When I choose any city, I still can see the empty chars ready to plot. I just want to see the chart and plot for the one I have chosen.

If you use measure names as a filter and uncheck Sales, That part of the chart would vanish (incl the axis).
