I have two date parameters: 'From' and 'To'. The purpose is to show all records that have the dates in between two dates. Ex: I want to know all the orders from May 15, 2016 until Dec 16 2019. I have achieve that through using 2 parameters. i want to know of a way to default the input value of those two parameters to current month. If it's December , From should be 12/1/2019 and To should be 12/31/2019. I have attached a workbook for reference with my calculated fields. Can someone please help me with this? If it is not possible with parameters, can someone suggest another way to make it happen?

The Beta features are exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, by the time Tableau 2020.1 is released and by the time our team upgrades to it (There is some time before we upgrade to the new version due to security audits), we can't wait for that long. I'm not sure of the Python script and if it's been done before on our company. if you could brief the process of how to do that, I'd be grateful. Any help is much appreciated .
