I've been searching for a while and can't find a solution that will work.
Situation:
I have a long list of user names and wish to filter the data based on the drop down filter selection. This filter is based on the name of the users.
Requirement: I'd like to have the drop down filter behave like an action filter. Users will open report on Tableau server but the dashboard page will remain blank until they make a selection on the drop down filter (their name). if 'All' is selected the dashboard will be blank.
