How to introduce a custom filter page for a user that will update the dashboard on that filter

Hi,

This is my vision, from one data source I have a field User Id. I would like the users of the dashboard to be able to filter on this field:

1. On the first page is a custom filter page where users of the dashboard can input a list (a column from excel) such as this:

User ID:

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    2. The dashboard with several sheets will filter on just those entered in the custom filter page.

Is this possible? Thank you! I am extremely new to Tableau.
