Hi,
I created one dashboard and its data source is Excel (Live connection).
This dashboard has few Image and Shapes used.
When I publish this dashboard to make Excel live connection work,I uncheck Include External Files. Now the problem is images not displaying on tableau server.
When I upload it by selecting include External Files then Dashboard is not refreshing from Excel file.
Has anyone had this issue?

When you publish the data source, it will give you an option to update the workbook to use the new published data source. You'll want to select this option.
Once you do that, the workbook will be connected to the published data source instead of the Excel file. Then, when you publish the workbook, you should have different options for the data source. Instead of the option to embed it...
