The workbook connects to a MySQL database. I am able to refresh the data source manually and get data back using my Tableau desktop.
But after the workbook was published to the server with a refresh schedule, no data is showing on the workbook after the refresh, even though the extract refresh was completed successfully(this is showing on Extract Refresh Status).
And when I download the workbook from the server, and tried to refresh manually, I was asked to sign in to the database, which is odd because credentials have been embedded. I don't need to sign in at this step for sql server connections.
Can anybody help me?

Hi Tracey,
How long does it normally take the extract to refresh? It seems that the database is unavailable during the refresh schedule. Try confirming with your database team when the relevant MYSQL database tables are updated. Then schedule your refresh several hours before or after the database update period.
