I am out of practice for mapping. Please help if you can!
Attached is a filled map. The LAT and LON are data fields from my own data and display the location of all stores nation-wide by the LAT and LON. When I drop a field in the filter card to further sort out which stores I want shown on my filled mapped Tableau not only removes the circles displaying the location of the stores, the filter is also removing the filled map coloring? My filled map is now only partially filled due to the filter even though I am doing dual axis.
What I would like to show is the location of each store by a circle on a filled map, which is colored by region (the State Group field makes up the regions, six regions/six colors on various states in the map).
Any thoughts or suggestions? Angie

it is a dual axis map now and the filter keeps removing both circles AND shading of filled map.....? i want the entire map shaded by region with circles on top but can't get view. thanks for any further suggestions.
