I have created a Tableau dashboard, and the data gets updated twice a day. Therefore, I need to schedule the report to run two times daily.
How can I schedule a report on Tableau Server to run twice daily at 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM?

Hi, the answer will depend on the platform:
Tableau Server:
- You will need your Tableau Server admin to create two refresh extract schedules. One to run at 8:00AM and another one for 4:00 PM
- Then, you will need to create two refresh extract tasks in the workbook (embedded workbook datasource) or datasource(if your workbook uses a published datasource). One per each one of your refresh schedules

In Tableau Cloud you don't have the option to create schedules, so you program the schedule refresh directly in the workbook (embedded workbook datasource) or in the datasource (published datasource). There, you will select the refresh extract tab, and you will have to add two tasks, to run daily at 8:00am and another at 4:00 p.m.
