I own the Tableau Public profile TarikB and all workbooks published from Tableau Desktop prior to the Hyper migration now fail with the error:

"Live and extract connection with .tde files have been deprecated."

Examples include:

https://public.tableau.com/views/FIFAWorldCup2014PV/FIFAWorldCup2014

The issue affects all legacy workbooks on my profile. I still have access to the Tableau Public account.

Can you determine whether the original workbook packages (TWB/TWBX) are still stored and whether they can be converted or made available for download?

Anyone else been through this?

Then, you can download your workbook from Tableau Public. Once it is downloaded:

    a. go to a sheet:

    b. Right clic on the datasource and select upgrade extract:

    d. Save the workbook

    e. Republish the workbook (Server Menu, Save To Tableau Public as).

Attached you will find the twbx.
