Open a Tableau Next dashboard directly in the Tableau Next workspace → agent launcher is inside the dashboard, agent inherits the dashboard's filter / KPI context. Works as expected.
Embed the same dashboard on a Salesforce Lightning page (home or record page) → no agent launcher inside the embedded component. Page-level agent launches don't carry dashboard state.
Questions:
1. Expected behavior, or am I missing a config to expose the launcher in embedded dashboards?
2. Has anyone passed embedded dashboard state into a page-level agent invocation? How?
3. Any roadmap signal on this?
Hi, maybe you can custom your employee agent (I have not tested but it may work) to add the subagent/topic of Data Analysis. Also remember that you would need to give also the user at least the Data Cloud User permission set, and a tableau next license + the allow access to concierge (some tableau permision set licenses does not include the allows to concierge)
