Lesson: Create Product Categories and Attributes
The first attribute definition was wrong, so I deleted it and created a second version. But the API Name was added the number 2. I tried to delete it and create a new one, and the new one was added number 3.
I emptied the recycle bin, but it didnt work.
The challenge check is replying the error below:
In the Storage Capacity attribute picklist of the Hardware Catalog, we can't find an active attribute definition named ‘TabletStorageSize’. Make sure it’s set to ‘Required’, and that it has the expected values for Label, API Name, and Data Type.

Hi @Leandro Tideman - Salesforce doesn’t reuse API names once they’ve been created, even if you delete them. That’s why it keeps adding “2” and “3.”
The only working fix for the challenge is to start with a new Trailhead Playground so you can create the attribute with the exact API name TabletStorageSize.
