Recently created a Tableau Public account, and downloaded the super store data so I can run alongside the tutorial to create a viz. Each time I hit Publish As, I get the error above, so I can't save my progress for reference. My Google Chrome is updated and I tried extracting the data only to keep getting the error. Is something I am missing?

This is a known issue that the developers are working on. There are several other posts on the same subject within the recent past. There doesn't appear to be anything comparable between the posts that might indicate a workaround or possibly contributing to the issue. And no, unfortunately we don't know when it will be resolved.
