I need to change the size of the gantt chart by date. But if i will filter on Start Date by This year (2013) i dont see a man who took a vacation in 2012.
If i will filtering by End Date by This year - i will not see the man who will take a vacation in 2013 and end date in 2014
I know how to do it by changing my data - create a custom timeline in excel and write for each man his "own day-by-day line"

I need to see current information for Today of my staff, see realtime vacation bar. If i will choose the date by This Month - i must see ALL the people who are out of office and it doesn't matter when their vacation start or end

Egor, I believe the attached is as close as I can make it, and hope this is something you can use.
It is difficult or impossible to remove the "buffer start and end date on the date axis" without dynamic start and end for date axis or similar improvement.
