Tableau is extremely slow on the initial load. This applies to any dashboard (SQL queries takes less a second to pull the data). Once any one dashboard loads up, all other dashboards and links are super fast.

Issue does not seem to be with the live database connection or using extracts. It's with the initial load of the server. We deployed Tableau on premise within our AWS VPC. Instance type is m5.2xlarge (8 vCPU and 32 GB RAM). If we look at the past 2 weeks CPU usage, it peaks at 40 percent.

Tableau server configuration is attached for your reference.

Issue doesn't seem to be with dashboards, databases or with visualization. The output is just 100 rows and table is very small.

Slowness is only with the first load of the first dashboard (first dashboard can be any). Any subsequent dashboard loads (the ones other than the first dashboard)  is extremely fast.
