Hi, everyone:
I'm trying to create a heat map by zip code that describes change in population over five years. This is very easy. However, I also need to overlay a custom set of service areas/regions on top of the zip codes to delineate special boundaries that the client has set. For example, this is to show that 36 zip codes represent my "Primary Service Area" and so on with the additional zip codes in the secondary service areas surrounding it. The service areas/regions should be bordered by thick black lines that easily show the divisions, especially when competing for attention with the individual zip code boundaries and colors from the heatmap.
So far, I have attempted to create a dual-axis map for the overlay. However, as you will see in the attached packaged workbook, the service areas/region borders in the top map are extremely faint. (Ignore the blue regional shading in the top map... this is just to make it easier for you to see.) Is there a way to increase the weight of the line to make the borders more visible? I hope there is a relatively easy way to do this, but I'm open to any "hacks," as well.
I'm running Tableau 10.1.3, 64-bit, on a Windows 7 machine.
