Hi,
I am trying to connect Tableau to an excel data source.(Sample excel attached).If you see the excel, the columns EE5,FF6,GG7 and HH8 are subdivided into other columns.
eg:EE5 has the subdivision Report, Summary.
When this data source is connected to Tableau, the sub divisions are interpreted as separate columns.(please see the attached screenshot)
I am planning to use EE5 in a filter which'll have two values Report and Summary. I am unable to do this now.
Is there any possible solution to this?
Any help/suggestion would be really helpful for me to move forward.
