Share published workbooks and data sources across organization

Hello Tableau Users Community,

I am looking for a more efficient way to share published workbooks and data sources. Currently, there are two users in our organization with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.

To share a workbook, we use the following system.

1.I publish it on Tableau Online and send an email from the Tableau Online interface.

2. Then my colleague views the dashboard and makes comments. She would like to make changes and share them with me.

3. I make the changes.

4. Repeat steps 1 - 3.

This can be tedious.

Instead, my colleague would like for the workbook and data sources to appear in her Tableau Desktop once I publish the workbook on Tableau Online. Is something like this possible?
