As a follow-up from an earlier post, the attached book has the filter as different colors.  The YTD can be selected so its highlighted.  Attached a book originally given by Simon Runc.

    1. YTD Actual: if datediff('year',[Date],today())=0 and [Date]<today() then [Actual] end

     

    2. YTD Budget: if datediff('year',[Date],today())=0 and [Date]<today() then [Budget] end

     

    3. PYTD Actual: if datediff('year',[Date],today())=1 and [Date]<dateadd('year',-1,today()) then [Actual] end

     

    4. PYTD Budget: if datediff('year',[Date],today())=1 and [Date]<dateadd('year',-1,today()) then [Budget] end
