Open a file from a shared folder using Action

Hi

I am trying to open a PDF file from a shared folder using action but since the URL for the shared folder start with "file" not "HTTP" like that " file://vm-tableau/Shared_files_for_Tableau/ "   it's working on the desktop version but when I publish it to the tableau server it gives me an error . I google it and found that the URL start with  "file " is not in the white list for tableau and even if I add it it will work only in internet explore but will not work in chrome or Firefox.

any other ideas I can try
