I'm using 10.3.1 and I have a map with about 1300 locations plotted. In my final version there will be several filters where users can narrow down the locations based on a number of variables. My data are plotted by longitude and latitude and I don't believe there are any duplicates. However, a couple cities contain multiple data points and it is difficult to differentiate them unless you are zoomed in really far. Pomona, CA is an example. Even though latitude and longitude aren't identical, is there a way to jitter these points if they are in the same city? Putting different marks on them isn't really an option because some of these points share the same characteristics. I know there is a lot of info out here about jittering, but I haven't come across this specific scenario. Thanks for any help.
Laura, Here is a image of what I am referring to. I actually used Index on both Size AND color so that when there are multiple marks per city they will have different sizes and colors.
