Hi all,
I Hope someone can help. Probably not very complicated for advanced Tableau developers.
Just made this [attached ] workbook to simulate my actual work.
I have the dimensions Brand and City where Brand can exist in many city´s
Then I have two measures Cost and Sales.
On a Dashboard I have a Table and a Scatterplot with [Brand - Cost - Sale] and a Single Value drop down filter for City.
What I am trying to to is to use the table and the Brand Scatterplot as a filter where the Brand-City Scatter plot will appear and the color for choosen Brand will remain the same for all dots.
Then you should be able (or clean the filter) to get back to the Bran Scatterplot.
With hope in my heart

Fjalar, I think this is what you're looking for.
Go to your "Brand - City" worksheet, and make the Marks card look like this.
What this does is to have the level of detail on this plot at Brand-City , but only color the dots by Brand.
Is that what you intend?
