I recently went through the NBI Appointment Online process for 2025 here in the Philippines, and it got me thinking about how much smoother user experiences could be when backed by proper digital workflows — something Salesforce is really great at.

The NBI portal has improved over the years, but there’s still room for enhancements like better automation, user data management, and real-time updates — features that Salesforce tools already handle well in customer service contexts.

Has anyone here worked on government or service-based projects using Salesforce that focused on streamlining appointment systems or online booking experiences? I’d love to learn how similar frameworks could help optimize public service websites.

Yeah, I’ve seen a few public sector projects use Salesforce Experience Cloud with Service Cloud + Field Service for appointment scheduling. You can set up self-service portals where citizens book slots, get automated reminders, and even reschedule without manual intervention. If the NBI-style flow was built on that stack, real-time updates via Salesforce + SMS/Email alerts would be pretty straightforward.
